One needs to provide an ATM card number and CVV number. You will find the card number on the front side of the card.
The number of digits varies as per the type of card and bank. Its 16 to 18-digit numbers for the State Bank of India. CVV number is a three-digit number found on the back side of the card, normally inside a white box.

An OTP is a 4 digits code delivers to your registered mobile number for every transaction you do online.

This panel provide you with the initiation of the transaction. You need to swipe or insert your over here in this panel. The system will read your card and will display it for authentication.
Dispenser
It’s on this panel that your money will be dispensed.

How to deposit Cash at CDM
Just like an ATM, CDM (Cash Deposit Machine) is for depositing cash into your account. Instead of going to the branch, you can do a cash deposit on CDM which is pretty simple and less time-consuming.
Here, the system is reversed to ATM. You are going to deposit cash instead of withdrawal. The system has a cash receiver panel instead of a dispenser.
- Swipe the card onto the swipe panel and follow a few simple steps.
- Choose the denomination and amount you are going to deposit. Put the cash on the cash receiver panel.
- Let the system count and get it completed.
- You will get a receipt for the transaction.
How to Enquire Account Balance
Through your ATM card, you can check your account balance anytime.
The process is quite simple. Swipe your card, and on the first screen, there will be a menu of balance inquiries. Click on that and authenticate with your PIN number.
Your account balance will be displayed on the screen. You will receive a printout of it too.
How to Get Account mini statement
You can also get your account mini-statement.
Same as balance inquiry, when you swipe your card, on the first screen there will be a menu for mini statements.
A mini statement is your last 5 transactions. Put your PIN number and confirm. You will get a printout of a mini statement.
Shopping at the mall or payment at any vendors
Your card can be used to pay over-the-counter payments such as groceries, utility bills, petrol pumps, at hospitals and many other vendors.
It is hassle-free and a convenient method of payment. Whether you have cash with you or not, this plastic money will handle everything for you.
Here, all you need to do is to swipe your card in the POS (Point of sale) machine installed at the counter.
Please be careful while punching your PIN number, as crowded places like malls, and hospitals are where there is hardly any private space. You should not compromise your PIN number and card details.
How To Transfer Funds from ATM to ATM
Fund transfers can be done between ATM card to card. You can transfer funds to any account of any bank branch. All you need is the card number of the beneficiary account holder.
When you swipe your card in the ATM, you will see a menu of Card to Card transfer under the fund transfer button.
Click on that, put the card number of the beneficiary, and provide your PIN number when the system prompt and confirm.
How To Transfer Funds from ATM to Bank Account
If you want to transfer funds to another account, you can do so, by visiting any branch of your bank.
Branch has a POS machine installed at the counter or as a standalone POS. You can do it on your own.
Go to the standalone POS machine, and follow the steps.
- Swipe your card on the POS machine.
- Under the menu choose the option fund transfer.
- Click and put the beneficiary account number.
- Provide the amount you want to transfer.
- Put your PIN number and confirm.
How To Register a Mobile Number In SBI Account
You can update your mobile number at the ATM. Here’s what you get on the ATM screen, one for new mobile number registration and the other for changing of existing mobile number.
